KABARRAFFLESIA.com – Pemerintah Kota (Pemkot) Bengkulu segera membersihkan tempat hiburan malam yang ada di kawasan Pantai Panjang Bengkulu. Hal ini untuk menyukseskan program ’10 Juta Umat Doa Untuk Negeri’ yang akan digelar 10 November 2018 mendatang.
“Untuk suksesi kegiatan 10 Juta Umat Doa Untuk Negeri, Wakil Walikota saya perintahkab untuk melakukan penertiban kemaksiatan di Kota Bengkulu,” ungkap Walikota Bengkulu Helmi Hasan, di Balai Kota, Senin (22/10).

Menurutnya, tidak ada toleransi untuk prostitusi dan pornografi di Kota Bengkulu. Apalagi, gambar-gambar yang terpajang di kawasan pantai sudah menimbulkan keresahan masyarakat.
“Akan malu kita kalau ini tidak kita tindak karena akan menimbulkan suasa yang tidak baik. Kita berdoa dimana-mana tapi kemaksiatan tetap ada,” ungkapnya.
Dalam penertiban ini, Helmi mengatakan Pemkot Bengkulu akan melibatkan semua unsur. Mulai dari aparat penegak hukum, tokoh agama, tokoh masyarakat dan lainnya.
“Penertiban segera akan kita mulai. Sehingga ketika sambut tamu timbul kesan Kota Bengkulu relijius dan memang kita akan memberikan pelayanan maksimal terhadap tamu,” tukasnya.
Di sisi lain, Helmi mengaku persiapan kegiatan doa berjamaah ini sudah 50 persen. Undangan sudah disebar dan pihak panitia tinggal menunggu konfirmasi kehadiran.
“Kita tunggu berapa yang akan dikirim ke Kota Bengkulu,” pungkasnya.
Untuk diketahui, sebelumnya Walikota Helmi melakukan rapat dengan seluruh Organisasi Perangkat Daerah. Rapat dilanjutkan oleh Wakil Walikota Dedy Wahyudi. (MC)
